Televison: Top Shows this Week!
This show just keeps getting better...Who is the Alpha? Will we ever see Stiles Shirtless? Where is Derrick?
Ok, I'm one behind on this, but WOW... I am so loving Torchwood. It's a bit slow moving, but it's so nice to have Captain Jack back!!
Tonight's Episode could very well be the best ever. Tara's mom driving out the evil spirits was classic and not to be missed. Hoyt and Jason? And Pam, poor poor Pam!!! TOP OF The WEEK goes to...
True Blood.

Book Review: Robopocalypse
It's not often i find myself with a book I can't put down, in fact I usually find it all too easy to put a book down in favor of going on line or watching television or even just staring off into space.
But "Robopocalypse" was the exception to the rule and I'm not sure why...
The book starts out reading like a movie script (and how strange is it that Spielberg announced just a week after this book was published that he had bought the rights to and would direct this as a film). Now, normally reading a script would turn me off right there - but it didn't and i found myself just going with it.
The scripting format really doen't let you get very close to the characters, but then in a book called "Robopocalypse" it's not the people i'm interested in.
In the end, the story digs deeper than I think the author really intended. Some of the concepts that seem silly at first glance - such as the how the robots view themselves, take on a different light when you remember it is a human recounting the story for the Robots.
The book is a Creepy, fun quick read that is worth some your notice. Take the time you won't regret it.
My Rating: [8.5 out of 10].

TV Review: TEEN WOLF
This could really turn out to be something. The new show Teen Wolf is off to a pretty good start. Besides being filled with a lot of hotties there is some fairly good acting and decent story telling here.
There are some generally creepy moments but not a lot humor. So maybe the show is taking itself a little to seriously which is one of it's few week points.
There is a fun young cast that unlike most teen shows can actually pass as teens. The Chemistry is good between the best friends. Some of the best scenes are between Scott and Stiles, as Stiles fail at keeping under control for his friend who is not having much luck controlling his wolfing out.
Our main wolf man tends to be a little bit of a whinier, but who can blame him? He sprouting claws and hair in all kinds of strange and new places. He's the ultimate metaphor for teen angst.
I'm going to give the show a chance because I think it will pay off in the end as the show dives deeper and creates it's own mythology.
So, join us here each week, my friend...you sure to get a howl...
